Terms of Service

By accessing or using the FinBeauty platform — including our website at finbeauty.app and our iOS application — you agree that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms of Service ("Terms") on behalf of yourself. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform or submit any personal information to us.

These Terms apply to all users of the FinBeauty platform, including individual subscribers, school administrators, and students accessing the platform via seat codes issued by their school.

1. About FinBeauty

FinBeauty LLC ("FinBeauty," "we," "us," or "our") is a Delaware limited liability company that operates a financial and business education platform designed for beauty industry professionals. Our platform provides curriculum, tools, and resources to help salon owners, stylists, and students make smarter financial and business decisions in their careers.

FinBeauty content is for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial, legal, tax, or professional business advice. See our Disclaimers for full details.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use FinBeauty. By creating an account or using our platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to use the platform and make any purchases.

FinBeauty is intended for use by individuals working in or studying toward careers in the professional beauty industry, including cosmetology students, licensed stylists, estheticians, and salon or spa owners.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on the FinBeauty platform — including but not limited to curriculum modules, lesson text, quiz questions, financial tools, calculators, certificates, graphics, logos, design elements, and code — is the intellectual property of FinBeauty LLC and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

Your subscription or seat code grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use FinBeauty content for your own educational and professional development purposes only. You may not:

• Reproduce, copy, republish, or redistribute any platform content
• Share, resell, or distribute access credentials, seat codes, or course materials to any other person
• Use any platform content for commercial purposes, resale, or to earn income by teaching or redistributing FinBeauty materials
• Create derivative works based on FinBeauty content without written permission
• Scrape, extract, or systematically collect data from the platform by any means

Unauthorized use of FinBeauty content constitutes infringement and may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@finbeauty.app if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

Accounts are for individual use only. Sharing your login credentials or seat code with others is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination without refund.

5. Subscriptions, Seat Codes & Billing

Individual subscriptions:

• Monthly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Lifetime access purchases are one-time, non-refundable, and non-transferable
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; access continues through the end of the current billing period

School seat codes:

• Seat codes are issued to schools and are single-use, one-time activation only
• Once activated, seat codes are non-refundable
• Seat codes may not be resold, redistributed, or transferred to individuals outside the issuing school
• Schools are responsible for distributing codes only to enrolled students

Billing:

• All billing is processed securely by Stripe; FinBeauty does not store your payment card information
• Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change with reasonable notice
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes based on your location

6. Refund Policy

FinBeauty provides free preview access to select content before any purchase is required. Because our curriculum is delivered digitally and is immediately accessible upon purchase, all sales are final once content has been accessed.

Refund requests submitted before accessing any purchased content will be considered on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, contact support@finbeauty.app within 7 days of purchase. Refunds are not available after content has been accessed, after seat codes have been activated, or on lifetime access purchases.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the FinBeauty platform to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful or malicious code
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform or its servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the platform or its systems
• Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or other means to scrape, harvest, copy, or extract curriculum content, data, or materials from the platform
• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with subscription tier restrictions, seat code access controls, or any access management features of the platform
• Share, transfer, sell, or otherwise provide seat codes to any individual not authorized by the issuing institution
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Engage in any conduct that is abusive, harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable

FinBeauty reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to any user who violates these Terms, without notice and without refund.

8. iOS Application

The FinBeauty iOS application is available through the Apple App Store. Your use of the iOS app is subject to these Terms in addition to Apple's App Store Terms of Service. FinBeauty, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.

Your FinBeauty account and learning progress sync between the iOS app and the web platform. Both surfaces share the same account — you do not need separate credentials.

Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the FinBeauty app. In the event of any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights, FinBeauty, not Apple, is responsible for investigation, defense, and resolution of such claims.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Important — please read carefully

THE FINBEAUTY PLATFORM, INCLUDING ALL CONTENT, TOOLS, AND SERVICES, IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FINBEAUTY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

FINBEAUTY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY RESULTS OBTAINED FROM USE OF THE PLATFORM WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FINBEAUTY LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL FINBEAUTY'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO FINBEAUTY IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).

11. Earnings Disclaimer

FinBeauty provides business and financial education. We do not make any representations, guarantees, or promises about the income, revenue, or financial results you may achieve by applying the concepts taught on our platform. Results vary based on individual effort, market conditions, experience, location, and many other factors outside our control.

Any income figures, financial projections, or business scenarios presented in our curriculum are illustrative examples only and are not guarantees of earnings. You are solely responsible for your own financial, legal, and business decisions.

12. Third-Party Links and Services

The FinBeauty platform may contain links to third-party websites, products, or services. These links are provided for your convenience only. FinBeauty is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party sites, and we do not endorse any third-party products or services by linking to them.

Your interactions with any third-party site or service are governed by that party's own terms and privacy policy. You access third-party sites at your own risk.

13. Account Termination

FinBeauty reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms — including but not limited to unauthorized sharing of credentials or content, fraudulent activity, or abuse of the platform. Upon termination, all access is immediately revoked and no refund will be issued.

You may close your account at any time by contacting support@finbeauty.app. Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid.

14. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the FinBeauty platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

By agreeing to these Terms, you waive your right to a jury trial and your right to participate in any class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. Arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis only.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining Terms will continue in full force and effect.

Any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to your use of the FinBeauty platform or these Terms must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose, or it will be permanently barred.

15. Changes to These Terms

FinBeauty may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use of FinBeauty after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. School Institutions — Data Processing & Student Records

When a school or educational institution ("Institution") purchases seat codes and makes them available to students, FinBeauty acts as a service provider to that Institution with respect to student learning data. By purchasing seat codes and enrolling students, the Institution agrees to the following:

• The Institution designates FinBeauty as a service provider with a legitimate educational interest for purposes of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), where applicable, solely to provide and operate the FinBeauty platform on behalf of the Institution.
• FinBeauty will not disclose student learning records to any third party other than the Institution's designated administrator(s) without the student's prior written consent, except as required by law.
• The Institution is responsible for notifying its students that their course progress (lessons completed, quiz scores, and last active date) within FinBeauty may be viewable by the Institution's designated administrator.
• The Institution agrees to use student progress data accessed through the FinBeauty administrator portal solely for legitimate educational purposes and in compliance with applicable law.
• Upon termination of the Institution's subscription, student learning records will be retained for up to 90 days and then permanently deleted, unless earlier deletion is requested in writing.

Students who wish to review, correct, or request deletion of their learning records may contact FinBeauty at support@finbeauty.app.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Disclaimers, and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and FinBeauty LLC with respect to your use of the platform. These Terms supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings between the parties on this subject matter.
